Matt Dunavant

Matt Dunavant is an Associate with Godspeed Capital and joined the firm in August of 2024. Godspeed Capital is a private equity investment firm focused on organic and acquisition growth strategies in the lower middle-market Defense & Government services, solutions, and technology markets. Mr. Dunavant is responsible for evaluation, due diligence, and execution of new investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Godspeed Capital, Mr. Dunavant was an Associate in Baird’s investment banking group, where he advised on mergers & acquisitions and capital markets engagements in the aerospace, defense & government services sectors.

Prior to Baird, Mr. Dunavant was a member of the corporate development team at Mercury Systems, providing execution support for mergers & acquisitions and other strategic initiatives.

Mr. Dunavant holds a B.B.A. in Economics from the University of Georgia.
