Alex Gainey
Alex Gainey is an Associate with Godspeed Capital and joined the firm in June of 2023. Godspeed Capital is a private equity investment firm focused on organic and acquisition growth strategies in the lower middle-market Defense & Government services, solutions, and technology markets. Mr. Gainey is responsible for evaluation, due diligence, and execution of new investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Godspeed Capital, Mr. Gainey was an Intern at the firm. Mr. Gainey had previous internships in Equity Research at MoffettNathanson, a subsidiary of Silicon Valley Bank, covering the Media and E-Commerce Markets.
Mr. Gainey graduated from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University with a B.B.A. and a concentration in Finance, and the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University with a Masters in Finance.
